Worship Pastor

Reports to: Associate Minister of Worship and Tech | Worship Ministry

FLSA Status: Exempt | Full-time

Salaried (TBD based on experience) | 48 Hours/Week 

Position Purpose

The Worship Pastor will lead the congregation in worship and shepherd the worship volunteers and creatives of the Grace family. 

Main Responsibilities

• To lead our congregation in worship that is glorifying to our Lord.
• To shepherd and guide our worship ministry volunteers.
• To foster creativity within our worship teams and creative wings of each ministry at Grace Church.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Planning out and praying through each service order with the greater worship ministry staff and the Senior pastor.
• Lead worship approximately 2-3x per month between our campuses.
• Shepherding the volunteers in the worship ministry.
• Mobilizing creative content for the Grace Family.
• Assist with creating and organizing small groups in the worship ministry.
• Audition vocal and band members and engage in heart checks once a quarter.

Proficiencies Needed

• Man or Woman with a strong call to shepherd and minister to others. 
• Must have vocal and instrumental proficiency.
• Must be able to lead a band well, understanding instrumentation and charts.
• Having proficiency on an instrument is desired, but not required.
• Must have regular Spiritual disciplines and Biblical literacy.
• Must have at least three years experience leading worship.
